Your response of 4-6 sentences should answer the following questions:
1. Describe Darwin-- Who was he? What do you think his personality was like? His work ethic? 2. Was he right in initially trying to hide his work? 3. Do you think some of the reactions about Darwin are fair? 4. If you were to live at the same time and place as Darwin, what might your relationship be like (colleague, friends, enemies
Darwin was a English naturalist and geologist that is best known for his contributions to the evolutionary theory which he put together after visiting the Galapagos Islands. I think his personality was that of a kind, good-natured, and smart man. His work ethic seemed as if he was diligent and wanted to get the job done. I think that he was not correct initially to try and hide his work because the world deserved to know of his accomplishments. I believe that the reactions were fair since each and every man is entitled to his own opinion. If I were to live in the same time period as Darwin, I believe that we might have been friends, possibly colleagues as well, due to the fact that had both been through tough periods of time where no one listened to or believed in our theories. We would have found common ground there. All in all, Darwin seemed like a great person.
Charles Darwin, a naturalist and geologist, is best known for his contributions to the study of evolution; his most famous journey was to the Galapagos Islands where he discovered the similar but different species on each island. Charles seemed to be a really curious person like you know, Curious George, and he was a hard working man who achieved great things. I don't think he was right to hide his work because I believe nobody should be afraid to show the world their accomplishments. I do not think it was fair that people called his work "foolish" and judged him because, in the end, he was right. If I lived in the same time and place as Charles Darwin, I think we would have been good friends. We both have people who judge us on what we say, and I think we could have bonded over that, along with both of our many achievements.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist who created the Theory of Evolution and was well-known for studying finches and their beaks on the Galapagos Islands. I think that he had a hard-working, intelligent personality and a very good work ethic because of all of his studies. Maybe he hid his work from the public because he thought that they would criticize him, but I don't think he was correct to do that. I share all of my books to the public no matter what. I believe that people can have their own reactions to whatever they want, so I do think that the reactions about him are fair. I think that me and Darwin would've just been colleagues because we have two very different interests; he likes science, while I like writing and drawing.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and geologist. He is best known for his theory of natural selection and his work in the Galapagos islands. To me, Darwin seemed like he would be a nice man with extreme determination and excellent work ethic, or else he wouldn't be nearly as successful as he was. I don't know the reasons for why he was hiding his work, but I don't think it was right because I feel he had nothing to hide it from. Even though his work was genius, everyone had a right to their own opinion to I think almost all of the reactions were fair. I think that Darwin and I would have been friends if I lived in his time because I feel that we both have an extreme determination to reach our goal and we are ready to work extremely hard to get there.
In 1831, Charles Darwin, a famous naturalist and geologist, embarked on a five-year voyage all around the world on the HMS Beagle. The studies he did on the specimens that he discovered on his journey, such as the similar but different species on various regions of the Galapagos Islands, led him to formulate the famous theory of evolution that we all know today, and his studies also revealed his views on the process of natural selection. Darwin seemed like a very nice and conscientious man who had an excellent work ethic because of his determination and ability to never quit. I think that Darwin should have never initially hid his work from the world because nobody should ever be scared to share their discoveries, especially discoveries as important and fascinating as his. I also think that the reactions towards Darwin are completely fair because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Nevertheless, Darwin should have never let other people's opinions stop him from making the right decision to share his work initially because as I always say, don't care for what people think, and just believe in yourself because that's all that matters. If I were to live in the same place and at the same time as Darwin, I think that we would be great friends because although we may have completely different careers and interests, we still share one thing in common; we are both very passionate about what we do.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and geologist. He is known for his work on the Galapagos Islands which is how he came up with the theory of natural selection. He must have had a great work ethic since it must have taken years to complete all that he did. I don't think that it was right for him to hide his work from the public because there wasn't anything to hide. Yes, everybody is entitled to his/her own opinions, but I don't think that people should have called his work foolish since it was helpful. If I was alive when Charles Darwin was, I don't think we would be friends. We wouldn't be enemies, but we would have been able to tolerate each other.
Charles Darwin was a revolutionary person that was best known for his work as a naturalist and a geologist, as well as being the one to create the Theory of Evolution. He is even known for his work on the Galapagos Islands that led him there. I would think he was a very determined, intelligent, and hardworking person because of all of his work and his work ethic would have been incredible because of all of his pursued studies. Hiding his great work from the world wasn't a very good idea as I feel that his discovery was nothing to hide form anybody and it was very significant to the world. If I lived at that time, I believe that Darwin and I would be good friends as we both brought something to the world, giving us something in common.

Charles Darwin was a well-known naturalist and geologist, and he is best known for developing the Theory of Evolution. I would think his personality would have been positive, determined, and persistent. His studies would have involved hard work and determination, so they would have had to be a big part of his personality. I don't think it was right of him to hide his work because it was absolutely fascinating. I couldn't imagine why he would ever want to hide his amazing discoveries from the world. Although most of the reactions to Darwin I would call "unfair", I accept everybody's opinions. I don't think it was right for everyone to react so negatively to this amazing discovery, but oh well. If Darwin were still alive, I think we'd be colleagues. I think I would help him study animals, and we would bond over the subject of animals.
Charles Darwin was a well known English naturalist and geologist whose most valuable contribution was the creation of the Theory of Evolution. He would have been a hardworking person; the Theory of Evolution was lengthy and would have taken multiple years to create. He was also dedicated to his work, both with proving and writing his theory. Unfortunately, religion got in the way; the theory of evolution went against major beliefs at the time. Darwin had to hide his theory for fear of prosecution. Unfortunately, the reactions to his theory were to be expected, they were negative. I believe that these reactions were not needed; one of the largest discoveries in science and certainly the entire field of biology had just been made. Darwin and I could have been colleagues, but not friends. I prefer physics and material sciences to biology, and although I recognize the importance of his discovery, it does not necessarily interest me.
Charles Darwin was a naturalist and geologist, who is best known for his Theory of Evolution, which he developed based on the evidence found on the Galapagos Islands. He most likely was a hardworking person, and intelligent person, but also a social introvert, as he spent some 20 years by himself developing his theory. I feel that he was right to hide his work, because if he didn't, the religious people would've killed him right away, even though it was such a big discovery. He shouldn't have relieved such harsh judgement though. I believe everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and respect other people's beliefs. He and I would certainly be friends, because we were both though of as crazy, and we both are very determined.
Darwin was an English naturalist who strived to understand evolution. I think that he was diligent and very workmanlike, which helped him through all of the ridicule and disbelief of others. He, in my opinion, was right to hide his work. Anyone could have wrote a thesis on his discoveries, and he would not have been credited for any of it. Everyone has their own opinion, but I disagree that his work was foolish. As a man of science myself, I want to learn as much as I can about the world around me, and I would listen to anyone who could help me in furthering that knowledge (within reason, or course). Therefore, Charles Darwin and I would have most likely been friends.
Charles Darwin was a geologist and naturalist who was born in England. He took a voyage to the Galápagos Islands where he noted observations that supported Lyell's theory that daily geographic processes could gradually add up to large changes over time. He could have been a very smart man who loved nature and wanted to explore the world. His work ethic probably very strict. Darwin was right to hide his work because many people at that time didn't have accepting views and he would probably have received religious persecution if he had published his theory earlier. I think that all radical ideas receive criticism from people who are not willing to accept them. Darwin received a lot of criticism and that is fair and normal because at that time most people didn't have accepting views. If Darwin lived during this time, we would be very good friends since he and I both have a lot of visionary-like views.
Charles Darwin was a naturalist and a geologist who did work on evolution. I think he would have been kind-hearted, calm, and disposition to see the good in people. he would have had to have a very rigorous work ethic to discover all that he did. I believe that he was half right and half wrong about hiding his work. If he had shown his work he might have been persecuted, but he should not have waited for so long because surely he was proud of his work. I think that some of the reactions were not fair, but I shall keep my opinions to my self, for all are entitled to their own. If Darwin and I lived in the same time period, we might have been okay friends. I shall allow myself to think that, for even though we are both driven men and have a love for science, I would think that we would have disagreed on the matter of his long delay and fears. Other than that, we would have been the best of chums.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and geologist who was best known for creating the Theory of Evolution. Charles Darwin was most likely a serious, studious, and busy man because of his profession. As a naturalist and geologist, he must have been very diligent and efficient in his work. I believe he was right to hide is work, so he didn't receive harsh criticism from religious activist and to prevent other scientist from stealing his findings. However, the world deserved to know such a great accomplishment. Although he had changed many scientists ideas about evolution, "every man is entitled to their own opinion". Anyone has the right to think what they want, whether they believe in science and in Darwin or in religion. If I were to live during Darwin's time, we would be colleagues and friends. Darwin and I share similar views, so we would work together well.
Darwin was a naturalist and geologist that was credited for making the Theory of Evolution. I think he was a free spirited and curious person. He should have a good work ethic because he traveled around the world and was studious. I think that he was right to hide his work because many people in his day did not accept those ideas. I think that some of the reactions were not fair because he had the right to say what he believed in. I would be a friend because I wouldn't hate his ideas and I probably would have went to a different collage.
Charles Darwin was a famous English naturalist and geologist who developed the theory of evolution. He contributed much to the understanding of how life on Earth began through his book On the Origin of Species. His groundbreaking ideas were formed using his observations while on a journey on the HMS Beagle. He documented species of animals, such as finches and tortoises, plants, and fossils on the Galapagos Islands. Darwin must have been a knowledgeable, well-learned, and intelligent man to develop these radical ideas. I think he was also hardworking, enthusiastic, and imaginative. In addition to smarts, he also had to be cautious and wise about showing people his works. He couldn't publish his findings for fear of negative response from the then-conservative world. I think he was right in hiding his research initially, otherwise bad things may have happened to his book, such as people burning it or even killing him. I believe that people misunderstand Darwin and mistreat his name. They didn't treat him fairly. Just because back then no one believed in evolution or anything other than God, doesn't mean they could terrorize or intimidate him for his ideas. It was because of the unfair treatment he knew he would receive that caused Darwin to not publish his book earlier. If Darwin was still alive, I would be his friend and colleague. My beliefs are based off of
Charles Darwin was a scientist who created the idea of evolution and Natural Selection. I think he had a good personality and was very literal in his daily life, and I also believe that he had a very motivated work ethic which was very good. I think he was not right for hiding his work. He should've informed the world on his possible discovery so more scientists could do more work to prove his theory. I believe that his reactions were fair, but there was a slight overreaction. Although he is brilliant, I have to disagree with him because of my faith. I feel like we would have to be friends because I am a president and he made a huge discovery even though i disagree with his work. Overall, Charles Darwin lived a great life and made huge discoveries throughout his life.
Darwin was a naturalist who created the Theory of Evolution. I think he had a very adventurous personality, and he always wanted to be exploring something new. I believe he had very good work ethic. I don't think he should've tried to hide his work because his work contributed many things to science. I believe the reactions were fair because everyone can have their own opinion. Although our thoughts may differ, I believe Darwin and I would get along because we are both very intelligent so we could have intelligent conversations with each other.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist who is best known for developing the theory of evolution to try to explain how things change over time. I believe that he was a very lighthearted person, although he was serious with his work. He must have been very determined and fascinated by biology because he put a lot of time into studying all of the different finches on the Galapagos Islands. I think that it was right of Darwin to hide his discoveries at first because if he was to just come out and say his beliefs with little evidence to back him up, people would have thought he was crazy. I do not think that Darwin's ridicule was fair at all. He was out in the field working day and night trying to find information that would forward human intelligence for the better. Although his ideas were very far-fetched at first, we have come to know today that he was right about many of the things that he stated. If Darwin and I were to live in the same time, I feel that we might have disagreed on a couple of Biblical topics, but however I feel we still would've respected each other and our beliefs because we are both very hard workers.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist that is most well-known for his contributions to evolution. His work on the Galapagos Islands were very powerful in supporting his ideas of natural selection. He was very determined and adventurous and it was proven when he ventured to the islands to study evolution. I disagree, however, that he originally kept his findings secret. I think that if you discover something, you should share it with the world and not fear judgment. I think some people's reactions to Darwin were completely fair, because we are entitled to our own opinion. Although I disagree with Darwin's thoughts on evolution, I think he would be very insightful and we would have many good conversations and be great friends.
Darwin created the theory of evolution. I think he embraced change and wanted to be different. I also believe he had a good work ethic, just not as good as mine. I disagree with keeping his findings a secret because if you want to be famous you have to put yourself out there. Who doesn't want to be famous? I think the reactions he got were fair because it was going against everything people thought they had known and they did not like that. I feel like he was a very smart person, but I don't like smart people because they're smart and I'm not. I probably would knock him out.
Darwin is the English scientist who made the theory of natural selection when he visited the Galapagos Islands. He was probably a hard working man who respected life on Earth and loved animals. He also was somewhat adventurous because he went to the uninhabited Galapagos Islands. I think that he should have published his findings right away because then when they found out he was right he would look so smart and everyone who doubted him would look like a fool. I feel like if I lived at the same time period as Darwin we would be friends because I love animals and exploring so I might go to the Galapagos with him.
Charles Darwin was the creator of the Theory of Evolution. He developed this theory when he visited the Galapagos Islands. I think he was a good man with a great work ethic. I believe he was trying to hide his results because he was afraid of other people judging him because of his thoughts and beliefs. I think it was very justified for him to hide his results. I also believe that some of the reactions about Darwin are fair because his theories contradict the bible. I can understand how people would be outrages by Darwin's theories. Although i disagree with Darwin's theory, i think we would be able to develop a strong relationship.
Charles Darwin was an English naturalist and geologist who was best known for creating the Theory of Evolution. He seemed like a hard worker determined to accomplish what he needed to. i also believe he had a good work ethic.I think he should have shared his discovery dispite the reaction he would have got from his peers. I also believe that the reactions were fair because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If Darwin was still alive, i think we would be friends, but not close at all. He seems like a good person but not the type were you could per say "hang out" with.
